From wheat crops to shelved bread, contemporary modes of production outlook the human workforce behind our basic needs. By the reframing of one charged source; bread, this project explores the human labor behind our everyday trough the many simbolisms attached to bread, such as a symbol of labor, politics, religion, and for the artist personally, family history.
The glass pieces blown inside of bread inquires what’s lost in between and the many symbolic meanings we foresee; outlining how the perceptions of labor and material value are a social constructions ready to put into question.
